Meet Chelsey Pedersen
Sales Associate
Chelsey first experienced Rosemary Beach and Seaside beach at the young age of 5 years old, when her parents were deciding where to plant roots and build a beach home of their own
After many years of memories made along 30a, moving her own family here full time after the birth of their third child was a natural and easy choice.
“The memories I have from my early childhood years of riding bikes throughout Rosemary Beach – before there were street lights or restaurants here – those are memories I will forever treasure, and I wanted to share some of the special charm of this area with my kids too,” says Chelsey, reflecting on the decision to move her family to the area full time.
In 2018 she took over the rental business that Gayle had started, and she grew that business into a boutique rental company managing select vacation homes and family-owned properties, a business that she still enjoys today. But it wasn’t long after moving her family here full time that she felt led to join the real estate team and fuel her passion for real estate.
In July of 2022, Chelsey joined the team as a team assistant, and a few months later she transitioned into the focused and full-time real estate professional you know today. She and her mother share the same passion for fine homes and construction, and she has continued to expand the Jabbour Luxury Group’s building program.
Chelsey enjoys life here with her husband Mike and their children – Carson, Clayton, and Ellie.

Beaches
I obviously love the misunderstood beached of Seaside, Florida. They are among the least crowded beaches day in and day our of all the planned communities.
Still there are a few really cool spots. Near Gulf Place there is a public beach walkover a Shell Seekers Cove and only the few go there. Now you can because you read this.
Another not so secret gem anymore is the beach walkover just outside of the Stallworth Lake Gate enclave of luxury homes. You have to visit that location at least one each time you are here. My love of beaches also extends to Costa Rica and you should get in touch and chat about visiting us there.
Trails
The most peaceful trails that I find myself on almost every day when it is warm and sunny either on foot or on a bike are the trails that weave throughout Watercolor. They seem never ending.
When walking around town in Seaside the paths between the homes and streets are fun to walk. They can be a peaceful escape from the more crowed travelers on 30a.
But when I am really on for a hike I hit the trails right across the street from the entrance to Grayton Beach State Park between Watercolor and Grayton Beach. You can find yourself with vistas that you will never see traveling the usual path.
Breakfast
This is super easy…or at least it was. Waffles at Modica Market is 100% a must do. But Pickles serves some pretty good cinnamon salty pancakes with tons of butter and all the hot syrup you want. I have difficulty with this most Saturdays.
I enjoy Cracklins in Grayton Beach and I really like the French Toast at Black Bear in Grayton Beach. If I find myself near Rosemary Beach I often find a way to get into Donut Hole for a down home bacon and egg breakfast.
I could go on and on but breakfast at home with Gayle is probably the best there is.
Coffee
So the worst thing that ever happened to me and Coffee was when we were building our house and decided to install a plumbed Miele Coffee Maker. It used to be that it was too much trouble to make coffee, now I get it all day long at the punch of a button. Thank goodness there is not an endless supply of beans.
I find myself a few times a week at Black Bear in Seaside getting a coffee and reading my book of the week. On Saturday I usually get one from teh Dawson’s Group set up at the Farmer’s Market.
Me and coffee we kind of get along and well, there is coffee here from Amavida to Modica Market and at Pura Vida Ride in Las Catalinas too.
Lunch
One secret is that when you live here most days your lunch comes from your own efforts. Publix is a great grocery store and lite lunches or supplies is the first order of business.
But here are my real favorites. I love Mi Casita that is right across from our offices in Seagrove. It is about the best cool Mexican around. It does not take much to get me to Angelina’s for an Antipasto Salad every now and then.
Sometimes I do have to get my “Deep Fried Love” served by Seagrove Village Market Cafe. Thursday is the day I usually find my way there.
That’s how I live my life with a great lunch and a good book.
Dinner
I could just make the list. I think that is what I will do here. Cafe 30a is consistently maintaining all expectations for a fine meal. Day in and day out they never seem to miss the mark.
A new up and comer is Ambrosia in the new Watersound Town Center. Ambrosia is an upscale food service in a casual but serene setting. I have come to really enjoy this place.
Mimmo’s has great Italian. Basmati’s is a great Asian Fusion restaurant serving 5 star style.
A new entrant is M and P. IN Blue Mountain Beach this place takes you on a tour de force experience of a multi course small plate dining experience with one seating nightly. Well worth the food and entertainment. The Chef explains the inspiration for the current selections.
Shopping
Shopping for me is Mercantile in Seaside for boot. Boots on sale too. Its a great place for me and I love boots. I am known to be a boot wearer and my boots are made for walkin.
I find myself shopping for furniture and house decor at Shabby Chic at 30Avenue.
Well the truth is if you want to know about shopping you probably need to check out Gayle, Chelsey or Ariel. They have more skills in that area than I do. Me…..I am boots and lampshades.
I tried but I order my shirts from Untuck It.
For the Kids
Kids love the beach but first take em to Duckie’s
If you really want to go for arcades and carnival rides the Pier Park works for you. But if you want some quiet time with your kids you might also try the playgrounds around the communities of 30a.
Rosemary Beach has a couple of nice ones and so does Seaside. The other thing that is fun for kids is Ice Cream and Candy. Get yourself to Blue Mountain Creamery or It’s Heavenly’s and then run over the the Sugar Shack.
