WaterColor, Florida

WaterColor is a master-planned coastal community located along Scenic Highway 30A in Walton County, Florida. Known for its parks, coastal architecture, and access to Western Lake and the Gulf of Mexico, WaterColor offers a different rhythm than many surrounding beach communities.

The community was designed to blend residential neighborhoods, preserved natural areas, and walkable connections to the nearby town of Seaside. Homes range from coastal cottages to larger family residences, with much of the town organized around parks, trails, and access to water.

Today WaterColor remains one of the most active real estate markets along 30A due to its balance of natural landscape, established architecture, and proximity to the amenities of the surrounding communities.

What Defines WaterColor

Western Lake, a rare coastal dune lake, forms a defining geographic feature of the community. Boardwalks and trails connect many neighborhoods to the lake, the beach, and nearby Seaside, creating a network of public spaces that shape how residents experience the town.

Architecturally, WaterColor homes reflect a range of coastal design influences while maintaining a consistent scale and character. The community includes residential neighborhoods, family-oriented gathering spaces, and resort-style amenities that support both primary residences and vacation homes.
