Sallie

Meet Sallie Paris
Director of Global Operations U.S. and Costa Rica | Licensed Realtor
After graduating from LSU in 1998, Sallie Paris returned to her hometown of Seale, Alabama, to begin a career in banking operations.
She soon discovered that investing in real estate was not just a financial decision; owning a vacation property was uniquely rewarding on an emotional level. In 2005, Sallie accepted a job in the beach vacation industry, and she and her husband Jason have been happy South Walton locals ever since.
She began her real estate career in 2010 as a licensed assistant at the company that would soon become Scenic Sotheby’s International Realty, eventually transitioning to a sales role. Over the next fifteen years, Sallie helped hundreds of families buy and sell homes in Walton County, developing countless enduring relationships with colleagues and customers.
After collaborating on a series of projects in the 30A real estate community, Richard approached Sallie about playing a role in the Jabbour Luxury Group’s expansion in the 30A and international markets, focusing heavily on her deep understanding of the complexities of luxury real estate. It was a natural fit, and Sallie soon became the team’s first Director of Global Operations. She takes great pride in using an analytical and methodical approach to make the business consistent, efficient, and predictable. She believes that collaboration and mentorship are indispensable aspects of any successful career, an approach that has helped her develop a wide range of expert contacts in the real estate industry and beyond.
When she’s not busy with work, you’ll find Sallie on the tennis court, volunteering with South Walton Turtle Watch, or working to beat her sister in their long-running “Best Aunt” competition. She and Jason, her husband of more than twenty years, hope they never lose the feeling of being on vacation every day.

My Favorite Things

Our 30A and Costa Rica Listings
Having Fun on Instagram
Beaches
I must say that I get great enjoyment from the beaches in Costa Rica. I walk the darker sand beach there almost everyday when I am there.
Richard and I walk from Tupelo Street on the beach all the way to Grayton Beach several times a week when it is warmer here. My beach is the beach that I can connect with everyday getting my daily exercise.
Another not so secret gem anymore is the beach walkover just outside of the Stallworth Lake Gate enclave of luxury homes. You have to visit that location at least once each time you are here. My love of beaches also extends to Costa Rica where I am able to ride my bike along the shores of the Pacific Ocean.
Get in touch to chat about that experience.
Trails
The bike trail along 30A is where you will find me most days. I love to ride from Seaside to Gulf Place as often as I can. I was never a runner but always a biker.
For me the most fun is when I can take an electric assist bike with big tires onto the trails in Point Washington State Forest. I can get to some great locations and get views over Western Lake you just don’t get from the road.
But again I also like to take my Trek Mountain Bike with electric assist on the bike trails in Las Catalinas in Costa Rica, and to and from Potrero and Flamingo as often as Richard and I have business there.
Breakfast
I have always been a healthy eater. Unlike my husband Richard who really enjoys the pancakes at Pickles, I am more into a simple one egg breakfast with maybe a bit of tuna or salmon.
I do like the Donut Hole for a fresh breakfast. Mostly when the grandkids want to go hang out with us, that is a place we can go. Everyone can get what they want, and I can get a fresh cooked old fashioned style bacon and egg breakfast.
Still mornings at home keeping it simple are usually the best.
Coffee
My coffee recommendations are going to be the same as almost everyone’s. We love Modica, Amavida and Black Bear in Seaside. But just like Richard, I find the Miele coffee maker is great for a quick cup every morning.
Still honorable mention to Costa Rica. There we get coffee at Pura Vida Ride, but we also have the world’s freshest coffee from some of the best growers in the world just outside our door.
Coffee is my favorite drink of all time.
Lunch
Well I agree with Richard on this one. Publix is a great grocery store and lite lunches or supplies is the first order of business. I have to say, as a local I also shop for groceries at Wal-Mart particularly the new location at Watersound Town Center on 98 not too far from Rosemary Beach.
I love Mi Casita too and usually get the steak fajitas.
My real favorite of all is steamed shrimp from Buddy’s Seafood. That is one of my go to stops.
Still the best overall burger in town for me is at Pickles where I was so happy when the added the burger bowl to the menu.
Dinner
If you need a good fried seafood fix you must go to Seagrove Village Market Cafe or Shunk Gully.
A new up and comer is Ambrosia in the new Watersound Town Center. Ambrosia is an upscale food service in a casual but serene setting. I have come to really enjoy this place.
Mimmo’s has great Italian. Basmati’s is a great Asian Fusion restaurant serving 5 star style.
A new entrant is M and P. IN Blue Mountain Beach this place takes you on a tour de force experience of a multi course small plate dining experience with one seating nightly. Well worth the food and entertainment. The Chef explains the inspiration for the current selections.
Shopping
Shopping at the beach is a unique experience on 30A. We have a variety of booutique shops individually owned which offer a one of a kind style from extravagant to simple.
There is something here for everyone.
If you enjoy outlet shoppig for bargins, you must visit Silversands Outlet Mall in Miramar Beach. Grand Bloulevard in Mirimar and Destin Commons in Destin offer local and international stores.
For the Kids
I 100% agree with my husband on this one. Pickles, Sugar Shack, Heavenley’s, Dawson’s Yogurt or Blue Mountain Beach Creamery along with playgrounds and pools in Rosemary, Seasdie and Watercolor are the favortie places to not miss on 30A!
I remember early on vacationing here while the house in Rosemary was still unfinished and staying in Seaside and visiting these playgrounds.
Now having homes for over 25 years on 30A, we have created fun and lasting memories with our children and grandchildren. This is a unique experience that you too can start now with your family. I am so happy Chelsey, Mike and the kids moved here to create their own great joy.
